Interstella shows many different genres throughout its trailer and it's only half way through that its actual genre of SciFi is shown to an audience, it also includes signifiers of both Family Drama and Action.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: (Thriller)
The Girl with the dragon tattoo is very obviously thriller from the start, although the opening shot has an aspect of horror to it. The signifiers such as guns, car chases, quick cuts and intense music all lead an audience to the conclusion that this film is in the thriller genre.
This is a pretty basic response. I don't doubt your understanding but your work and in turn, coursework will only grow by using visuals and words to explore and 'interact' with your research and notes.
